• Pittsburgh Filmmakers Equipment Office Home

The Equipment Office is responsible for the care and maintenance of over 1000 pieces of equipment for the use of Pittsburgh Filmmakers' Students and Members.

• Equipment Office Reservation Checkout Detail

When a reservation is made at the Equipment Office, each piece of equipment is checked out, then checked back in upon return. Fines, notes, and other processes are possible from this layout.

• Equipment Detail Layout

Each individual piece of equipment has a category, subcategory, and sort category. Repair history, usage, and all other details can be found in this layout.

• Equipment Office Store Sale Layout

The Equipment Office also maintains a small store that sells specialty film items such as Ciro splicing tape for Super-8 film and 16mm Black and White reversal film stock. The store also processes fines attached to the student or member records in the database as well as rental fees associated with equipment use.

• Equipment Office In House Room Reservations

Students and Members can use Final Cut Studio editing rooms, color print processing rooms, digital lab workstations, and facilities such as our Sound Stage by making an In House Room Reservation.

• Purchase Order Detail Layout

Tracking purchase orders on paper can be a nightmare for accounts receivable and the finance department. This Purchase Order system feeds into Inventory so that nothing gets lost in the shuffle.
