I am currently living in western Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh. I grew up on the North Side of the city, in the small neighborhood of Troy Hill, which was featured in the locally made documentary "North Side Story" by WQED producer Rick Sebak (buy the video here.)

A book titled The Women of Troy Hill (Clare Ansberry, 2000) also profiles the neighborhood that I grew up in.Mary Wohleber, a wonderful woman featured in both pieces, was my kindergarden teacher in 1980! (I just found out via Google that she is the gold medal winner for Shuffleboard in the Singles Women 85+ FINALS in the 2005 National Senior Games!)
