I've pursued the art of screenwriting for several years. It's cheaper than trying to shoot a movie!
Always back up your data! Several years ago the hard drive crashed on my laptop and I lost everything. Including 5 finished feature screenplays. (Okay, they were each in need of rewrites, but we're talking at least 100 pages per script.) I seem to specialize in thrillers with supernatural elements... In a former life I took many classes in Film and Video production and editing and I also have a BA in Film Studies (critical theory) from the University of Pittsburgh.
I'm currently in production for a zero-budget feature film called "Tomorrow Song" shooting in and around the Pittsburgh area. We plan to wrap shooting some time next summer and will be hitting the festival circuit the following year.
